Center for RNA Medicine (CRM) hosted the first annual NASH-RC Copenhagen Summit at the Copenhagen Campus of Aalborg University on October 20th - 22nd, 2019. The NASH-RC Summit brought together PIs, postdocs, students and staff from CRM, Aalborg University, Denmark; University of California, Berkeley; USA; Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA; and University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. This meeting provided a unique platform for scientific exchange between the researchers working on the NASH-RC project, entitled “Therapeutic targeting of metabolic microRNAs as a new treatment paradigm for NASH”, while also informing the participants about recent progress in the research consortium. The open atmosphere and the small size of the meeting promoted vibrant discussions between all participants.
